Our Family Business
We are a family business that is personally involved in the production and export of qualitative table grapes, having also our own packing house. The place invwhich we cultivate our product isvArchanes which is a traditional village near the city of Heraklion, Crete.
Our Vineyards
Archanes is well known for its table grape production since grapes are cultivated in our area dating back even to the Minoan era. There is great potential for production, since already, the areas produce more than 8.000 tons per year. The fields are taken

Product Description
The microclimate which prevails in Archanes and Silamos in combination with the personal care and love involved have as a result grapes of high quality. We mainly cultivate Thompson Seedelss & Crimson Seedless but we have also expanded to other varieties as well.
In order to ensure the grape’s quality we focus on its:

New Varieties
The American Breeding Company IFG has chosen Cretan Root as the sole distributor of their varieties on our island. Through them, we cultivate the following varieties:
• Sweet Celebration (red seedless)
• Sweet Globe (white seedless)
• Jack’s Salute (red seedless)
We are also in close collaboration with the Israeli Institute
Volcani with the variety:
• Autumn Pearl (red seedless)
Our Field Staff
All of the above can only be ensured with the work that takes place on the fields. This is why our people working on the fields are people that are born in the nearby areas and know well what it takes to cultivate qualitative table grapes since they are growers on their own.

• All those involved – growers, employees and management – are committed to that scope.
• Our growers are organized into a group certified against the GLOBAL GAP – IFA ver. 5 scheme.
• The procedures of sorting and packing of table grapes are certified against the BRC – FOOD SAFETY ISSUE 7 (GRADE: A) and IFS – FOOD SAFETY VERSION 6 (GRADE: HIGHER LEVEL) international standards.

We have also acquired a brand new ProSeal GT0s Series Heat- ealing Machine which allows us to add heat sealed punnets in our portfolio. This machine can produce a little more than one truck daily!

New Investments in Lad
We always try to expand in terms of our land. This is why we have acquired a new undivided field of 25 acres!

We have incorporated a new and cotemporary trellis system on all of our family’s fields and our growers’ that ensure the correct way of plant development.
